It ain't easy dating the second best quarterback in the National Football League. Dallas Cowboys signal caller Tony Romo seems more than a bit infatuated with Jessica Simpson for the time being, but a report from Life & Style weekly seems to suggest that it was all a plan by Jessica to morph into Tony's one time sweetie and BFF Carrie Underwood to win Tony's heart.

After Carrie and Tony split she moved on with 'Gossip girls' star Chace Crawford, and Tony seemed quite enamored with 'One Tree Hill' hottie Sophia Bush. But the magazine claims that's when Jessica made her move towards filling in for Carrie.

They note that Jessica immediately went for the Carrie "look" and detail that, "While dating John Mayer, Jessica dyed her hair brown. After the breakup, she went back to a wavy blonde ‘do - just like Tony’s Ex!"

Next up, the body. "Carrie lost weight thanks to a healthier diet and more exercise. Now Jess is using her relationship with Tony to lose a few pounds, too. “She says it won’t be hard to get back in shape if she’s dating Tony," a friend of hers tells the weekly entertainment magazine.
